Interview with Jayel Gibson
Friday, June 19th, 2009I had a good time doing the interview with Jayel Gibson on her show, Chapters. She commented on the dialogue in the book and thought it was realistic. Remember, these are normal Americans and they talk just like you and me, and they care about the same things as we do. The link is on the home page of this site.

Having a Bite

Book Expo America
Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009I’m blogging myself…but I wanted to report that I had a great time signing books in New York City at the BEA (Book Expo America) last week. I had teachers, librarians, and book sellers lined up for an autographed copy. But get a load of this, on my right signing her new book was Julie Andrews. Yes, Mary Poppins herself. If that wasn’t fun enough, on my left signing was comic writer Dave Barry. He snagged a copy of “The Middle Fork”. I found out he has run the Salmon River himself. I hope he likes the action in the book!
